I have found Rachael Griffin to be uniquely prompt, courteous and effective in all her dealings with me during my tenancy under her aegis at MGM. Rachael deals with any problem immediately, and I have found her proactively willing to listen to ideas for improvement that I might suggest, and then take them to the owner for approval. Dialogue with Rachael is always open and professional. From this end I get a strong sense that she tends just as professionally to the owner's concerns.  It would be difficult I believe to find a better or more productive property manager.

My name is Kirsty and I have just signed a lease on a property managed by MGM Properties. I am writing to acknowledge both MGM Properties and the work that Rachel Barrass has undertaken throughout this process.

I have been renting for the last 14 years, and have experienced the entire spectrum of landlords, property agents and real estate companies - I believe I am able to comment on the different aspects of the tenancy process with reasonable accuracy. There are many occasions where we all experience less than adequate service, and are happy to complain about it - I believe it's also important to acknowledge those occasions when the service and attitude presented are exemplary.

The service and personal attention I received from Rachel Barrass at MGM Properties has been exceptional and unexpected! I have received a very positive experience and do not think everyone is as fortunate. Having a lot of close friends who are renting, you often hear the complaints and not so many pleasant comments about real estate agents. You also hear rumours such that real estate’s work for the landlord and do not care about the tenants.

Being my first time renting and hearing non positive feedback, initially I was very worried. I came across things in my rental unit that did not work properly or things that just need to be fixed. At first, I thought that I would be wasting my time by complaining and had no hope it getting things fixed. However, when I approached Rachel she not only had the time to listen and take note of all of these but she made them happen. This proved the rumours to be false or at least from my experience they were way off.

To my surprise Rachel organised repairs and quotes all in exceptional time frames from the moment I mentioned these problems. Due to this I am very thankful and appreciative to Rachel. She has given me the comfort to be able to approach her with any enquires and request at any time. Needless to say she has always been reachable via mobile, and responds immediately by email.

Regardless of whether you are buying or renting, I would highly recommend Rachel Barrass to help you. I could not have asked for a better person to look after my needs as a tenant.

Rachael Griffin has been our property manager since July 2007. Rachael's first visit to the unit was pleasant and friendly, her professionalism allowing us to beleive we were being met halfway, our time and Rachael's time was being mutually respected. Future visits for regular inspections on behalf of the owners plus the viewing of repairs when required, were dealt with quickly and professionally and always in a friendly, respectful manner.
